Radio Cabs now offer Disability Awareness & Wheelchair Training courses to all Brighton and Hove Licensed Taxi Drivers and Private Hire Drivers  

It is now a mandatory requirement for taxi drivers in Brighton and Hove to complete a course on this Disability Awareness, to obtain or to renew their licence.

In this course, you will learn about the importance of disability awareness in your role as a taxi driver, what is meant by a disability and the correct ways to assist disabled passengers.

You will explore correct procedures when assisting a disabled passenger and the correct inspection checks that must take place to ensure the passenger is safe and comfortable.
